Little Miss B. was such a great model, her mom and I had such a great time getting her to smile and show her personality. She was just a joy to photograph. Thank you to her family for this opportunity, and I look forward to taking more in the future.

So I have been an little MIA from my blog. Sorry, life is crazy, and I have realized that trying to post a picture everyday (and trying to make it an interesting one at best) is not realistic for me. So I am going to say goodbye to 365 blogging, and stick to blogging when I have something interesting to share.

My son had surgery for tethered cord (spinal cord is too tight, so they cut the cord that is tying it down). Kid's are amazing, he walked to the car the next day.

This guy was nuts. He was trying to get one of the three lions in the MGM exhibit to wake up and play. In the end the lion wanted to sleep, so the crazy man decided to join her and spoon.

So Barbie and Spider Man were racing across the the kitchen floor tonight. I figured I better get a new picture today, since I haven't in a while. And of course Spider Man won. I'm getting desperate to find things to take pictures of. It's so hard this time of year, when it's so rainy and dark.

No I don't still have our christmas tree up. Since I was not able to get a new picture today I am posting a previous one. Our cat loved laying under the tree. I like how the christmas lights sparkle in her eyes, she is such a great cat.

So I was not so good at updating this over the weekend, it was very busy. I took a bunch of these pic's on Saturday. It was my 1st try at "high key", but my back ground was mostly gray in these. I guess that's what you get with one light and a reflector ;) I think they still turned out OK.

So I discover today that the runny yucky nose my daughter has been having for the last month was not just a little bit of a lingering cold. But that she had stuck something up her nose and it was causing this yuk in there. So before she went back to daycare (after her traumatic experience) we stopped by the park to get a few shots in the sun. The temp was around 26*, and the fountain had frozen some leaves on the ground.

Day #21- Winter Flower

This flower blooms outside my office building every winter, I'm not sure what it's called. But it's so nice to see something so pretty and delicate survive in the middle of winter. Today our high was 37, and the low is to be in the low 20's. And tomorrow, there the flower will be.

1st Blog

So here I go. I think this blog thing will be a good way of keeping friends and family updated on my photography. And a good way of sharing some of my photographs.

So I had to bribe my kids into letting me use them as models the other day. They are not normally patient. I am practicing with my studio lighting. The kids did great and they got root beer floats, and all were happy.
