No I don't still have our christmas tree up. Since I was not able to get a new picture today I am posting a previous one. Our cat loved laying under the tree. I like how the christmas lights sparkle in her eyes, she is such a great cat.
So I was not so good at updating this over the weekend, it was very busy. I took a bunch of these pic's on Saturday. It was my 1st try at "high key", but my back ground was mostly gray in these. I guess that's what you get with one light and a reflector ;) I think they still turned out OK.
So I took these yesterday at the pond near our house. I thought these guys were so cute walking on the ice.
We decided to take advantage of the nice sunny weather today, since wetter weather is on its way.
So I discover today that the runny yucky nose my daughter has been having for the last month was not just a little bit of a lingering cold. But that she had stuck something up her nose and it was causing this yuk in there. So before she went back to daycare (after her traumatic experience) we stopped by the park to get a few shots in the sun. The temp was around 26*, and the fountain had frozen some leaves on the ground.
This flower blooms outside my office building every winter, I'm not sure what it's called. But it's so nice to see something so pretty and delicate survive in the middle of winter. Today our high was 37, and the low is to be in the low 20's. And tomorrow, there the flower will be.
Ok so I'm a little behind on this, but better late than never. I'm really looking forward to this challenge, and hope it helps me grow as a photographer. This picture is from a friends baby shower I was at today.
